Glenn Doman flash cards are used to teach languages. Glenn Doman did a study, concluding that babies and toddlers can learn new languages effortlessly. Their brains are highly receptive to language learning, making the process much easier for them compared to adults.
This is because young children are in a critical period of language development, where their minds are like sponges, soaking up information and patterns from the environment.
One effective method of facilitating language learning in young children is using flash cards. Flash cards provide visual stimulation and help reinforce vocabulary and language concepts in a fun and interactive way.
By incorporating flash cards into your child's learning routine, you can enhance their language skills and promote a deeper understanding of different languages.
By encouraging language learning through engaging activities like flash cards, you are setting a solid foundation for your child's future linguistic development and cognitive growth.
In Glenn Doman's book "How to Teach Your Baby To Read," Doman explains how a child can pick up the German language without "learning."
In this story,
a US Army Officer named Mr. Smith was assigned to a foreign assignment in Germany for work.
He was sent to Germany with his wife and son. Mr. Smith had to enroll in a German language class (three nights a week) to learn the German language.
After much effort to learn the language, he took his 5-year-old son to the supermarket a year later. Despite Mr. Smith's struggles to converse in German, his son did most of the talking as he could speak the language.
How can this be?
Even though Mr. Smith attended German language classes, his son did not join him. While Mr. Smith was at work, his wife and son remained home with their German maid throughout the day.
Glenn Doman continued to say that Mr. Smith was taught German but could not master the language, and neither could Mrs. Smith.
But the son was not taught German and could speak it.
Glenn Doman stated that children under six years old can learn multiple languages rapidly. As children grow older, it becomes increasingly challenging for them to acquire a new foreign language.
Here is Glenn Doman's quote,
Then, this is the period of life in which the child's brain is an open door to all information. During this period of life, he takes in all information without conscious effort. It is during this period that he can learn to speak a foreign language, even as many as five languages.
Glenn Doman Flash Cards can be learned in multiple languages.
Over the years, we at the Right Brain Education Library have seen many babies and toddlers learning and benefiting from our flash cards.
We have 44,720 flash cards using the Right Brain Education Method (Glenn Doman Method, Shichida, and Heguru Method).
One of the standout features of our program is the BONUS Multilingual Flash Cards program as part of our program, which allows your child to explore and learn multiple languages in a fun and engaging manner, promoting cognitive development and cultural awareness.
For parents eager to unlock the full potential of their baby or toddler's right brain, the Right Brian Education Library program offers a comprehensive approach that goes beyond traditional learning methods. By delving deeper into the principles of right brain education, we aim to empower children with the tools they need to thrive academically and creatively.
